Many tests have been performed at the factory to find out what would be the most effective break in period for our generators.
The proper break-in for your FIRMAN generator is to change the oil after the first 25 hours of use. As easy as it gets!

Please keep the bottle of oil it comes with, so you know exactly what quantity of oil you need for your first oil change. Make sure you are using regular 10W-30 or full synthetic 5W-30 if extreme cold weather condition.

After the first 25 hours, you will have to change the oil every 100 hours. Also, another tip you could remember, to check the oil level, don’t forget to dip the dipstick in and don’t screw it in.
